This is not right time for blame game, but...

Congress leaders including Veerappa Moily and Shivraj Patil and other are equivocally telling this is not right time to blame the center. BJP is asking for a tougher law. So when will the right time come when spineless congress will come out of please minority pinhole vision? Mr Home minister still tells we will discuss and provide all support and tells it is states responsibility. These are the same people who castigated Modi, blaming him for considering Gujarat as an independent entity. Its NOW the right time to decide whether let our people get killed like insects all over India ot take a brave emergency stand against this virus called terrorism. I hope India learns atleast a little from Israel.

Who will decide, what is good for India?

Now the cat is out of the box, now its we who can decide whether the esoteric Indo-US nuclear deal (AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA AND THE INTERNATIONAL ATOMIC ENERGY AGENCY FOR THE APPLICATION OF SAFEGUARDS TO CIVILIAN NUCLEAR FACILITIES) is in India's interest or not. Its strange that a country of a billion and with so many intellectuals, scholars still could not unanimously decide whether this deal is in long run good or bad for India. Ignoring what the politicians are up to(assuming for every party their personal gain comes before national interest) what are our scientists, professors, engineers and other scholars doing? How can a common man know how good or dangerous this deal would become? Finally as the agreement is now open to public, I have tried to put few clauses in the deal which could prove perilous: (Numbers need not the original document)

1. "The purpose of safeguards under this Agreement is to guard against withdrawal of safeguarded nuclear material from civilian use at any time."

What would happen if China or Pakistan are on the verge of attacking India with nuclear weapons? Should India be a mute spectator and get extinct?

2. "India shall notify the Agency of the receipt of any nuclear material, non-nuclear material, equipment and components referred to in paragraph 11(b) of this Agreement within four weeks of the arrival in India of such nuclear material, non-nuclear material, equipment and components."

Majority is minor in India

Hindus constitute to about 80% of Indian population. A mojority by definition means "The greater number or part; a number more than half of the total". Therefore Hindus form mojority of Indian population. Eventhough before Arabs/Muslims invaded India or Europeans colonized Bharat the term 'Hindu' was non-existent still the native Indians were henothestic which can be called "Sanatana Dharma". Therefore currently after systematic cleansing and forced conversions the Hindu population has come down to 80% from 100%. To prove this point I can refer to this (reviewd by Somon Digby) book by K S Lal. He states, the population of India was about 200 million in 1000CE and in 1500 CE 170 million and about 60 to 80 million people died in India between 1000 and 1525 CE as a result of the Islamic invasion of India. (also check this).
Coming back to todays India nothing looks any better with respect to declining Hinduism. India already has atleast 3 states where Hinduism is NOT the mojority. To elaborate this fact,
1. J&K - Islam constitutes 67%
2. Punjab- Sikhism is 64%
3. Nagaland-Christianity-90.03%
4. Mizoram-Christianity-87%
5. Meghalaya-Christianity-70.3%
6. Lakshadweep-Islam- >99%!
If the above somewhat known statistics is intimidating (atleast for some) check the following:
7. Goa-Christianity-30%
8. Kerala-Muslim 23.3%, Christian 19.3%
9. Chandigarh-Sikh-20.3%
10. Sikkim-Buddhism-28.1%
11. UP-Islam-17%
12. West Bengal-Islam-25%
13. Assam-Islam-31%
If all the above numbers look macabre, beat this: We DO NOT have the latest census data especially after the accumulating Bangladeshi migrants and highly increased conversions.
Considering the above bitter realities, a question arises even if one is liberal, non-right winged, secular etc. Is really Hinduism a Mojority in India?
The answer is clear. IT IS NOT. To prove myself following few examples should be enough.
a. If Hindus were a majority, Ram temple would have been built by now where it is supposed to have been.
b. Ex-President(s), current Super- PM, current PM, are not Hindus. More than that a maojr percentage of MPs and MLAs in ruling UPA are Christians (Quoted from Francois Gautier's page: "....according to a 2001 census, there are about 2.34 million Christians in India ; not even 2,5% of the nation, a negligible amount. Yet there are today five Christian chief ministers in Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh. One should add that the majority of politicians in Sonia Gandhi’s closed circle are either Christians or Muslims. She seems to have no confidence in Hindus.Ambika Soni, a Christian, is General Secretary of the Congress and a very powerful person, with close access to Sonia Gandhi. Oscar Fernandes is Union Programme Implementation Minister. Margaret Alwa is the eminence grise of Maharasthra. Karnataka is virtually controlled by AK Anthony, whose secretaries are all from the Southern Christian association. Valson Thampu, a Hindu hater, is Chairman NCERT curriculum Review Committee, John Dayal, another known Hindu baiter, has been named by Sonia Gandhi in the National Integration Council ; and Kancha Ilaya, who hates Hindus, is being allowed by the Indian Government to lobby with the UN and US Congress so that caste discrimination in India is taken-up by these bodies....).
c. Recent land transfer case Amarnath shrine board from the state Govt would not have been revoked.
d. The Dattapeetha (Bababudangiri at Karnataka) controversy would have been solved.
The list would never end but all the above observations do convey that in practical Hinduism is no more a majority in India. If even now no alarm bells ring in the head it might be too late.
Definitely I do not favor a Taliban like Hinduism for India, but definitely being to lame might prove fatal in the long(??) run.

Why every Indian state needs one Bala saheb?

Most of them hate him, including angry (still) young man, Biharis, north Indians, non-Marathi speaking Mumbaikars(?), Congress, Muslims, other minorities, left parties and so on. I disagree with him most of the times when his followers tear apart the greeting cards with hearts or beat bhayyas or shut down restaurants owned by south Indians. Still I hope every Indian state had One Balasaheb Thackeray who can protect the well wishes of the state, be it by Gandhian means or otherwise. Every state can not expect to get a CM who gives first preference to the states pride (asmita), therefore states like Karnataka where the local people are losing out to the neighbors even in their own place need a iron fisted man. Even though we are first Indians and then Maharashtrians, or Punjabis, or Tamilians or kannadigas still no one can deny their patriotism towards their mother tongue. (Linguistic division of the states makes patriotism towards language=state). Sikhs protesting against Dera Sacha Sauda should do so (if it is unavoidable) in Punjab or may be in Delhi (!) but definitely should not harm the public property of Non-Sikh majority state such as Maharashtra or Mumbai. Biharis and other north-indian cousins whom south Indians consider as being aggressive and jhagadalu would have gulped the Mumbai and rest of Maharashtra if there was no Shiv sena. Humans especially Indians have been accostumed to understand the language of lathi (dandam dashagunam). Practically you cant EDUCATE someone not to spit on the road but to avoid it by levying heavy fine. So be it Non-Gandhigiri but it works for Shiv sena and Maharashtra's interest.

India at ransom

A group of parties calling themselves liberal thinkers and followers of Marx and Lenin, contributing a mere 59 candidates are holding a whole nation for ransom. The weakest prime minister India ever had and a bunch of sycophants for whom pleasing Gandhi family is the only final truth of life are compromising with the security of the nation. Any dumbest of the dumb person can easily understand that left parties are following instructions of our neighboring country (No.. this time it may not be Pakistan) in delaying the nuclear deal from happening. I sometimes doubt if Chinese are feeding some drug in the fishes found in Indian water bodies as the two states where fish is always found in the platter and never in the aquarium are the only two states to consistently support the leftists. Now when the time has come where BJP is trying to move center wards from right every literate Indian should DO something to keep people who are repulsive towards Indian interest away from ruling. We definitely need a drastic change. A strong PM, a group of ministers who are willing to bring about the change for India and a mass movement supporting them.
